Pastor George C. Clausell, II was born July 16, 1975 in Fort Carson, Colorado. After which he became a native of Colorado Springs, CO. As a military child, he moved
often, so he has lived in several places as a child including Detroit Michigan, Colorado Springs Colorado, Greensboro North Carolina, Silas Alabama and Tuskegee Alabama.
He graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in Tuskegee Alabama, class of 1993. He is married to Sekeita Clausell. They have been married for almost nineteen
years. Together they have 3 children, George Clausell, III, Savannah Clausell, and Geordan Clausell. He is the youngest son of the former Pastors of Greater New Life
Church, Inc., Pastors George and Elizabeth Clausell.
Pastor George or Pastor G. as he is called, has been an ordained minister for more than 10 years, before becoming a pastor. He has been working in the church all his life. From a small child to an adult, he has been in church learning about Jesus. He has been involved in many facets of ministry ranging from being a church musician, a praise
and worship leader, a former youth and young adult pastor and bible study teacher, etc.
He has served on boards and committee as well as the head of auxiliaries in the church. Before becoming a pastor, Pastor G. was an elementary and early childhood teacher for more than 25 years teaching different grade levels. He has held many leadership roles in education. From grade level leader to multiple committees, to mentor programs for African American males Pastor G has given of himself to pour into others. In 2023, he was selected as Teacher of the Year for George Washington Carver Elementary School in Tuskegee Alabama and for the Macon County Public School System. He also went
on to win District Five Teacher of the Year that same year. Additionally, he was also selected as one of sixteen finalists for Teacher of the Year for the State of Alabama.
Pastor G. attended Morehouse College and graduated from Auburn University Montgomery with degrees in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. He also holds a Master of Ministry from Luther Rice College and Seminary. Pastor G. continually studies and reads the word of God; as he looks for ways to further his knowledge and spiritual growth.
His hobbies include a variety of things such as going to the movies, attending sports events, spending time with his family and friends, and traveling when he can. He also loves to sing. He takes pride in sharing the gospel of Jesus with others. He lives his life by showing the joy, peace and grace of God. He is an example of humility and love to those who know him. He is also an excellent reminder of God’s grace and mercy, and that God has a sense of humor.
